Paolo Sorrentino’s Youth produced by Nicola Giuliano, Francesca Cima and Carlotte Calori was this year’s big winner at the European Film Awards receiving the accolades for European Film of 2015, for Sorrentino as European Director and Michael Caine as best actor.
European Film Awards also went to Asif Kapadia for the documentary Amy; Yorgos Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou for their screenplay for The Lobster and to costume designer Sarah Blenkinsop; to production designer Sylvie Olivé for The Brand New Testament; and composers Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffira as Cat’s Eyes for The Duke of Burgundy.
